Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions indicated here are valid for all Koh Tao accommodation offered by HORIZON Koh Tao Co. Ltd. (herein after HORIZON).

A booking inquiry by the client is deemed acceptance of these terms.

All rates indicated are in Thai Baht and are inclusive of 7% government VAT and 10% service charge.

50% of the booking total price has to be paid in advance to secure the booking. We offer several methods of payment like bank wire transaction (on request), credit card and PayPal. The deposit needs to be paid during booking or within 7 days of receiving the invoice.

A booking is considered ‘confirmed’ once the deposit has been received and the booking price was secured.

The outstanding balance is due 40 days prior to check-in date.

Only those guests notified to the management before arrival are allowed to stay at HORIZON.

Check-in time is from 14:00pm,
Check-out time by 10:00am.
Early Check-In or late Check-Out can be arranged upon request and are subject to availability

The usage of HORIZON facilities happen to the client’s own risk and liability. HORIZON shall have no liability to the client for any loss, damage, costs, expenses, personal injury, accidents or other claims for compensation.

HORIZON shall not be held responsible under any circumstances for the acts or conduct of any other persons, whether his servants or otherwise, and will not be responsible for loss or damage to or the safety of any property or of any injury to any client or his named dependents under any circumstances whatever, whether by reason of fire, water, flood, tempest, theft, accident or any other cause.
For damage of HORIZON facilities, the client or his/her legal guardian will be charged the actual re-installment / replacement value.
No subletting is allowed.

Cancellation & No show Policy

All cancellations or amendments must be made in written notice or email to us.  The amount of the deposit refunded will be determined by the amount of time given before arrival as follows:

  • The full deposit will be refunded for requests made 60 days or greater from Check-in date.
  • 50% of the booking total price will be refunded for requests made 40-60 days prior to the Check-in date.
  • No refund will be given if the request is made within 40 days of the Check-in date.
  • A no-show on day of arrival without prior correspondence will imply the forfeit of the booking and no refund will be issued.
  • The PayPal ‘Refund Payment’ option is only available for 60 days after a payment is sent. After 60 days the guest will incur a PayPal charge for any money refunded
  • Money refunded by bank transfer may be subject to bank charges

Any claim and disputes in relation to the afore mentioned shall be settled in Thailand in accordance with the laws of Thailand.
